Birthday Gift

My son purchased a 6 month subscription for my birthday. I thought it was a really lovely idea and It was easy for me to set up. The first book arrived beautifully packaged, but unfortunately I had already read it . I have now received the second book, again well packaged, complete with bookmark and I am looking forward to reading it. I do think it is expensive though, and won't renew once my subscription runs out as I think there's too much of a risk that you will receive a book you already own .

Interesting choices

The two books which have arrived as part of my gift subscription have been interesting choices I wouldn't have picked up in bookshops or libraries. A clever idea.

Great receiving a book I don’t think I would have looked at in a bookshop, wasn’t able to put down and read within the day! Great book and fantastic story line. Can’t wait for next book to arrive!

Amazing selections, prompt delivery, beautiful and thoughtful packaging. I was so grateful to receive this and look forward to gifting a subscription to someone else ☺️

I had a minor issue with one order. The team responded to my email swiftly and all was resolved within a day. Thanks, WBC!

I got this as quite a thoughtful gift and I like the concept but the books I've been sent have just been fine. They haven't been surprising oddities or rarities, and while they aren't books I'd have bought myself that isn't really in a good way.
Customer service has been good, the staff seem nice, and the books aren't bad or anything, I'm just not sure about the concept as a whole.
