How does a subscription work?

We offer a range of book subscriptions and subscription gifts for all ages and reading tastes from delightful picture books for babies and children, to engrossing books for fiction lovers, nature lovers
or history buffs. We even offer couples subscriptions for a romantic reading together gift… we even offer couples and mum and baby
subscriptions, so you can spend quality time reading with your favourite person!

All our subscriptions are available in 3, 6, or 12 month durations.
If you’d like to give a subscription as a gift but you’re not sure about the recipient’s reading tastes a Gift Tin (link this) could be the perfect solution.
Step 2. Tell us about yourself or the recipient
We can’t wait to get to know you, we love getting to know each and every reader! Just answer a few questions about your reading tastes and preferences, and we’ll
use this information to personally select a brand new book each month for the duration of your subscription.
Don’t worry about getting it perfect, this can be added to or changed with us at any point after purchase via email, phone or live chat on the website.

Step 3. Checkout. Sit back & relax
Sit back, relax, and let us do what we do best: selecting enticing new books for all our readers!
You or your recipient’s first book will be sent out to them within 5 business working
days. Subsequent books will be sent on the 1st of each month, and usually arrive within 2-4 days from dispatch.
If you have purchased the subscription as a gift their first parcel will contain a card
with your gift message and an explanation of their gift./ If you have purchased the subscription as a gift
If you’d like us to, we’ll also send you a printable gift certificate via email so that
you’ve got something to give them in advance of their first book arriving.

Step 4: We’ll donate a book to charity
When you buy a subscription with us, we will also donate a new book to Book Aid
International on your behalf. These donations support the vital education and literacy development work that the charity performs across the world.

If you order a gift card for your recipient, we’ll make sure that their book is sent out after they’ve received it.
