We will deliver to the address you specify for delivery as part of the checkout process. It is important that this address is accurate. If it is not, the delivery of any replacement item may need to be covered by the buyer. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions. We will aim to deliver the goods within the timescale quoted on our website, but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date may be extended by a reasonable period. Any change in the address for future deliveries must be provided at least 1 month in advance, in order to ensure that items are not sent to an incorrect address.

We understand that not everyone enjoys the surprise element, so we also offer a spoiler service. If you opt into this service you will receive an email letting you know what we have selected, giving you the option to ask us to choose again should you already own the book we have chosen. We will always do our best to introduce you to books and authors that you may not have tried or heard of, but we understand that you may receive a book that you already own or have previously read. Should this happen please get in touch via hello@thewilloughbybookclub.co.uk and we’ll happily send you a replacement.
Firstly, we’re really sorry! All our books are sent out on the 1st of the month or the next working day. UK customers should receive their books within 2-4 working days, and International subscribers should receive theirs within 5-15 working days after dispatch. If you haven’t received your book by 10th of the month, please get in touch and we’ll arrange for a replacement to be sent.
If you have just placed an order, your first book will be sent within 5 business working days from the payment, then all the follow up books will be sent on the 1st of each month.

The majority of our paperback books will fit through a standard letterbox. Some of our hardback titles and children’s picture books will be too big so you may need to collect these from your local sorting office. If you would like to leave us any delivery details or change your delivery address to a work address, please let us know.
Yes! We offer worldwide shipping with options for fully tracked or partially tracked services depending on the destination country.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Within the EU, shipping covers VAT and customs so you won't be charged anything additional upon receipt. Order totals are capped at €150 due to IOSS regulations, so are limited to 3 and 6 month subscriptions.
Outside of the EU, these orders may be subject to VAT and customs upon arrival.

We have currently suspended the sale of new subscriptions to the United States as we navigate the new tariff regulations.
Yes of course! Just fill out the form here and we will change it. As we work a month in advance to get all of the books ready for the dispatch date, we can't guarantee that the change will be in place for the next package but it will definetly be in place for the following month.

The lucky recipient can activate this themselves and tell us all about their reading tastes! Alternatively, you can contact a member of the WBC team who can talk through other options. I want something to give my gift recipient for a special occasion.
We can’t provide this service due to the volume of subscriptions we fulfil, however we do offer a printable gift certificate that is perfect to tuck inside a card! Alternatively, you can purchase one of our gift tins or email gift vouchers for the recipient to redeem themselves.
