We're an independent business and pride ourselves on offering a personalised, unique and memorable book subscription service. But most importantly we love books! We think there’s no feeling like getting a new book delivered to your door, especially when it’s been hand-picked and gift wrapped just for you.

We spent some time searching for a Book a month gift for ourselves and failed to find anything suitable! We were surprised at the lack of options avaialble, and so started the The Willoughby Book Club as a means of sharing our love for great literature and beautifully bound books, and to encourage and promote the idea of reading for pleasure.

I love anything to do with cooking, crafting, reusing / recycling and general thriftiness. One of my favourite books is ‘Peyton and Byrne British Baking’. Not only is it a beauty to look at, the recipes are pretty amazing!

I definitely recommend the homemade jammie dodgers (yum) and the elderflower cordial is pretty special too.

My favourite book has to be ‘The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists’ by Robert Tressell. It’s that rare kind of novel that really challenges our acceptance of the society in which we live, and it's more pertinent now than ever. I also happen to like trousers.
